Mount Shishapangma Expedition (8013m)

Shishapangma is only one 8000 meter above mountain of China. It is one of the lovely mountain of China, which lies in the autonomous region called the Tibet. A very few numbers of in the universe had knowledge about the Mt. Shishapangma before the Chinese opened Tibet to the western summiteers in 1978. The Tibetans regard Shishapangma as holy mountain. It is the youngest mountain among the peaks situated above the height of 8000m.

September 05 2008 Days 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. 

September 06 - 08 2008 Days 02 - 04 : Stay at Kathmandu for visa procedure.

September 09 2008 Days 05 : Drive Kathmandu to Zhangmu (2350m).

September 10 2008 Days 06 : Drive Zhangmu to Nyalam (3750m)

September 11 - 12 2008 Days 07 - 08 : Rest day at Nyalam for acclimatization.

September 13 2008 Days 09 : Drive Nyalam to Shishapangma Base Camp (4700m)

September 14 - 15 2008 Days 10 - 12 : Rest Day at Shishapangma Base Camp for acclimatization.

September 16 2008 Days 13 : Shishapangma Base Camp to Advance Base Camp (5600m).

September 17 2008 Days 14 : Advance Base Camp.

September 18 - October 12 2008 Days 15 - 39 : Climbing period to Mt. Shishapangma (8013m).

October 13 2008 Days 40 : At Advanced Base Camp (5600m)

October 14 2008 Days 41 : Advanced Base Camp to Base Camp

October 15 2008 Days 42 : Shishapangma Base Camp.

October 16 2008 Days 43 : Cleaning Base Camp.

October 17 2008 Days 44 : Drive Base Camp to Zhangmu.

October 18 2008 Days 45 : Drive Zhangmu to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

October 19 - 20 2008 Days 46 - 47 : Rest day in Kathmandu.

October 21 2008 Days 48 : Transfer to airport, departure onward destination.
