	Everest Standard Trek

An addition, to the Everest base camp is the trek up to the Gokyo Valley/fifth Lake. It is located in the valley immediately west of the Khumbu valley and as far less crowded than its better-known neighbor to the east. Gokyo valley has only one traditional permanent settlement; the rest being summer pastures now catering to the passing trekkers. It is best sight to see the Himalayan panorama.

Itinerary In Detail

Days 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport by our representative, transfer to hotel.

Days 02 : Sightseeing at Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

Days 03 : Fly to Lukla and start trek to Phakding, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 05 : Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (day hike to Thame village), overnight at guesthouse.

Days 06 : Trek to Dole, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 07 : Trek to Gokyo, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 08 : Trek to Fifth Lake and back to Gokyo, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 09 : Trek to Gokyo Lake and back to Machhermo, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 10 : Trek to Khumjung village, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 11 : Trek to Phakding, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 12 : Trek to Lukla, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight at guesthouse.

Days 14 : Leisure day in Kathmandu

Days 15 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination.
