Imja Tse (Island) Trekking Peak (6160m)

Imja Tse peak is more popularly known by the name of Island peak. Eric Shipton's party named island in 1953, as the peak resembles an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. Later in 1983, the peak was renamed as Imja Tse.
Island was first climbed in 1953 by a British expedition team as training for ascending Mt. Everest. The peak is a part of the south ridge of Lhotse Shar and the main lands forms a semicircle of cliffs that rise to the north of the summits of Nuptse, Lhotse, and Lhotse Shar.

Days 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport by our representative, transfer to Hotel.

Days 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure & sightseeing, Overnight at Hotel.

Days 03 : Fly to LUKLA (2,834 m) & trek to Phakding (2,611 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 05 : Trek to Khumjung (3,790 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 06 : Trek to Tyangboche (3,867 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 07 : Trek to Dingboche (4,343 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 08 : Trek to Chhukung (4,730 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 09 : Island Peak base camp, Overnight at Tented camp.

Days 10 : Island Peak High camp (5,600 m), Overnight at Tented camp.

Days 11 : Island Peak Summit (6,160 m) back to base camp, Overnight at Tented camp.

Days 12 : Trek to Pangboche (3,901 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 13 : Trek to Khumjung (3,790 m), Overnight at Lodge.

Days 14 : Trek to Phakding, Overnight at Lodge.

Days 15 : Trek to Lukla, Overnight at Resort.

Days 16 : Fly back to Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel.

Days 17 : Rest at Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel.

Days 18 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination.
