The trek unlike others fuses and blends in natural excellence with cultural enigma unknown to outside world. The journey combines both the element of chaotic nature of the city and the beauty of massifs and greenery.

The trek begins from Pokhara one of the most famous tourist destinations in Nepal. The trail though remains less crowded and untouched than other trails in this region. The major highlight of Khayar lake trek is the view of Annapurna massif over the magnificent Khayar Lake at 4827m. The titanic Annapurna region is captured in a unique and charismatic dominance over the blue sky. The colossal Annapurna massif includes Annapurna South, Annapurna III,IV, Himculi , Machapuchre and many more.

The panoramic scenes of the green landscapes are also along the trail. Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal in the evergreen forests of the trail just adds icing in the cake. Along the serpentine highways to Pokhara the boredom of one's ride is hijacked by the soothing sound of streams and green pastures. Pun Hill, one of attraction of this trek is famous of its captivating sunrise through the mountain peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri where the color of the sunlight changes from pink to red.

Khayar Lake trek also provides the opportunity to explore the cultural diversity of Nepal. The trail follows through many villages with their unique traditional lifestyle and culture especially that of Gurung,Magar and Tamang community. We can simultaneously explore and enjoy the views of mountain ranges through paddy fields.Ghandruk village is well known home to Gorkha soldiers. The route also accommodates lodges and teahouses for relaxation and also serves local cuisines native to only that region.
