Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Normally, your arrival in Kathmandu is day one of this trip. We will come to pick you up at the airport as per your flight time and transfer you to the hotel. There are no activities today apart from a trip briefing meeting. The information about the meeting time will be available upon your arrival at the hotel.
You have time to relax and go for any last-minute preparation for the trip. Welcome to Kathmandu!
Day 02: Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu
We have a full day in Kathmandu to explore the heritage sites in the valley. If we have not met for the meeting yesterday, we will meet today after breakfast. If we have met yesterday, we will continue on a full day sightseeing tour.
Your entire afternoon will be busy going around different ancient and medieval heritage monuments in the Kathmandu valley. We will take you to Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath to explore the ancient and medieval magnificence of the valley.
The tour will show you a lot about the culture, spiritual practice, history, and lifestyle of people in the valley. You will have an awesome cultural tour day today. Our city tour guide will make it easier for you to understand what you are looking at to make your experience even better.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi
After a day to prepare for the trek and sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, we leave Kathmandu to drive to Syabrubesi today. The drive will be of around seven hours through beautiful highway and its surroundings. We will drive past several local towns and villages that will give us the idea and impression of the life in the small towns and villages.
Syabrubesi is the place where we start the trek to Langtang and Gosainkunda. We will stay overnight today at a guesthouse and spend a relaxing evening around the town.
Day 04: Syabrubesi – Lama Hotel
We begin the trekking adventure today at Syabrubesi and the walk takes us to Lama Hotel today to stay overnight. The first day of the Langtang Trek to Gosainkunda Lake offers us incredibly beautiful natural surroundings and local villages as we traverse the trail. After passing through several amazing places, we reach Lama Hotel eventually. This place is a popular overnight stop for the trekkers in the Langtang region. We spend our first overnight in the mountains of Langtang at Lama Hotel.
Day 05: Lama Hotel – Langtang
On the second day of the walk, we will head towards the Langtang valley and reach Langtang village to stay overnight. About five hours of the walk today will take us through beautiful surroundings that bring breathtaking views of the mountains. It is a beautiful day walk in nature that gives us a healing touch with a soothing gentle breeze and natural surroundings.
Once we reach Langtang village and check into a teahouse, we will wander around and learn about the place. This entire village was swept away by a landslide during the devastating earthquake in 2015. But the place is there now to serve trekkers again rising from the disaster.
Day 06: Langtang - Kyanjin Gompa
The trek to today will take us to another beautiful place in the region – Kyanjin Gompa. This is a local ethnic village in the region that offers a wonderful cultural immersion. In addition, it also offers a breathtaking view of the mountains in the Langtang region.
The trek to Kyanjin today takes us through places with beautiful natural surroundings. We will also enjoy the beauty of prayer flags and prayer walls as we trek up towards the destination for the day.
Day 07: Kyanjin Exploration Day
We will have an early morning wake up today as we are hiking to Kyanjin Ri. The hike will take us to Kyanjin Ri and we can enjoy some unbelievable views of the mountains. We will descend to Kyanjin after the sunrise and spend the entire day exploring the village and its surroundings. A full day at Kyanjin will give us a chance to observe the cultural wonders there closely.
Day 08: Kynajin Gompa – Lama Hotel
After exploring Kyanjin Gompa, we are now ready to make our way back to Lama Hotel today. The trek starts towards Gosainkunda now. We will tread the same trail back to Lama Hotel to stay overnight today.
Day 09: Lama Hotel - Syabrubesi
It is the final day of the trek in the mountain today. We are traversing the trail all the way back to Syabrubesi to stay overnight. A long yet beautiful day walk will bring our trekking adventure to an end. We will enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings on the final day of the walk. Once we reach Syabrubesi, we will find a guesthouse and stay relaxing overnight here.
Day 10: Syabrubesi - Kathmandu
We will drive back to Kathmandu today. It will take around seven hours to drive back to Kathmandu. We will drive along the same highway that we took earlier to Syabrubesi. Once we reach Kathmandu, we will take a leisurely stroll around and spend a relaxing time after trekking adventure in the mountains.
Day 11: Departure Day
The trip has come to an end today. We have to bid farewell for this time hoping to meet again for another adventure soon. We will drive you to the airport for your departure flight as scheduled.

If you are on ‘camping treks’ please do not leave your bags unattended at any time for your own safety. Take your main bag inside the tent once you reach the campsite. At night, all bags and belongings are kept in the middle of the tent. Your guide assigns a Sherpa on a rotation basis to guard the campsite throughout the night. If you are on a ‘Tea house or GAP trek’ arrangement, you will be sleeping in local teahouses. You need to take sensible precautions yourself at all times. Never leave your baggage unattended and keep your lodge room locked when you go out.
